This year the ‘Dutch Indoor Rowing Championships’, the ‘NKIR’, will be held virtually. Between December 5th and December 12th, you can compete anywhere in the world in either a ‘live’ (on December 12th) or ‘submit’ (between December 5th and 11th) competition. This year, money will be raised for a charity: World Child Cancer NL. This will happen in two ways: 1) part of the subscription fee will go to the charity 2) there is a separate fundraiser in which participants can join individually or in a team or both and raise money.
The ‘live’ competition for international participants (Charity 500m and Charity 1000m) will take place on December 12th in late afternoon (CET), this will enable overseas participants to compete. All action will be captured in a livestream with live commentary on December 12th. If you choose to partake in a ‘submit’ event you will also get the chance to feature in the livestream, just record your effort and send it to us. Rankings and winners of both events will be called during the livestream.
